Use the Company Blocklist to list employers you want LifeShack to exclude when matching new jobs. Review the saved list yourself, especially your current employer; do not assume that a company was identified correctly from your resume.
If applications are already running, pause Auto Apply before editing your preferences.
Steps
- Navigate to the "AutoApply" page in your account dashboard.
- Locate and click the "Edit Search" button.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Search screen
Locate the Company Blocklist widget, and update your list.
Add your blocked companies and hit enter or the blue plus icon!
Check names and understand the limits
Confirm that the companies remain in your saved list before resuming. Add relevant trading names, subsidiaries, or spelling variants you know about rather than relying on a single name to cover every listing.
The blocklist is a name-based filter, not a guarantee of employer invisibility or confidentiality. Employer names and related companies can be ambiguous, and matching can fail. A new exclusion does not withdraw an application already sent or guarantee recall of one already in progress.
There is no individual application approval step. If avoiding a particular employer is essential and you are unsure about the saved exclusion, keep Auto Apply paused and contact support before resuming.
