Tutorial | Update Company Blocklist

There are a variety of reasons why someone would want to block a company on LifeShack.

For one, they may work at the company (don't worry, we automatically block your current employer).

If you have a list of companies you'd like to prevent from receiving a LifeShack application, follow this guide for step by step instructions.

Steps

1. Navigate to the "AutoApply" page in your account dashboard.

2. Locate and click the "Edit Search" button.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Search screen

4. Locate the Company Blocklist widget, and update your list.

5. Add your blocked companies and hit enter or the blue plus icon!

Now, every time LifeShack runs a job search for you, we'll make sure that we do not apply to these companies.

If you have concerns about exact matches (i.e. Disney vs The Walt Disney Company), rest assured we take variations into account to ensure the company will not receive applications.
